First Two Days in Japan

For the last two days in Japan, I have experienced so much, new food, new technology and just new ways of coping with getting around the city. My friend's parents house is so tech advanage then Canada will every be. Toilets that clean without toilet paper, refridators that open on both sides, various machines that cook different things... I could go on forever. As far as travelling is concerned it is very easy to get around. I take one of the private train lines down to Umeba (Oaksa City Centre)everyday to learn and see new things. My friend's place is so centrally located that I can get to the next big city in less than 2 hours by train. Today, I managed to get myself downtown and to use the subway system that is very complicated like the subway system in London England but in Japanease characters and some Roman letters. I went to the famous Oaska Castle.

I am doing a little bit of sight seeing every day as I am trying to experience the culture as well.
Some interesting things I have discovered is that they have vending machines that you can buy anything from.

Also, they have KFC and MacDonald's like us however they have the KFC man outside the restaurant dressed up in a Santa outfit.

Anyway, having a great time learning the language and about the culture... More to come....
