Ha Long Bay

One of the original boat - there were called junks
We slepted on the boat and we had two people to a cabin. It was amazing to see the mountains that are very similiar to the mountains on the Yatazee River in China. We also went to Hang Sung Sot caves that are embedded in the mountains. It was very similiar to the caves in South Africa. When we were on our boat, the locals rowed out to the boats to sell their goods. It reminds me of Thailand. One of the boys from the tour jumped into the water to buy beer.

It was amazing to see floating houses and even a bank.

On the way back to Hanoi we stopped at a ceramic village and saw the girls painting the clay pottery.

In Hanoi, I went down to the old quarter and saw a temple and a beautiful lake before we booked a train to head to Hue. We were in soft sleepers. That means 4 in a room.
Today, we went to a Royal group dinner.
