Sceney between Kathamandu and Bandipur
It was on the mountain which was filled with rice fields. I met some of the local teenagers that are working now. School is expensive after grade 7 and most of the teenagers go to work. The Bandipur Mountain Resort was right on top of the mountain and the picnic area for the locals was right there too.

It is now normal to see a security guard by any tourist place in Nepal. The security guard for this place was right at the entrance. Even the sceney was beautiful but nothing to do. I was disappointed by the service and lack of information for Bandipur but I got some rest. I guess I needed it as I fell asleep shortly after 8 that evening. I guess my hectic schedule of tripping had caught up to me.

Anyway, today I traveled to Pokhara which is a larger city and the hotel is straight across from the hotel. It looks like a normal city, however it is interesting to see cows landing on the front yards of people’s places.

I guess I wonder what the Nepalease people would think of dogs in Canada laying on the front yards.
For your football fans – some of the houses had a soccer ball as the gate post to a home.

Football home post anyone!!
I am now in Pokaka and my hotel is on the lake.

I too have enjoyed the veiw from Pokara and been out on the Lake Fewa in one of those small boats, brought back some lovely memouries of my time over there. The Mountain looks just the same! its more than 20 years since I was there.
Greetings from New Zealand.
I see your coming to NZ next year, maybe I might catch up with you, if your coming to the South Island, specially if it is by the Interisland Ferry, which I can see from my home!
