Zagreb

St. Mark's Church

Yesterday we arrived in Zagreb Crotia. We are staying in the Westin Hotel in the middle of the city. Today we took a tour of the upper and lower city. We saw lot of churches and the roofs were very interesting. See picture below.

The Larger church called St. Katherine Church. It is barque in style. The writing on the wall about Jesus on the cross was very interesting.

In the afternoon we went to a vineyard and tasted the local wine and a tour of the home village of Tito which was the president that freed Croatia from Communism.

The plague about Tito's house - his house is still in the original condition

Tito's parents were blacksmiths. The blacksmith house is now a museum and is used to dry corn.
