I arrived in Berlin Germany. The symbol of Berlin is the bear. Just like Toronto and the moose the bear is all over the place.

I went to check point charlie which is the last remaining post of the division between east and west Berlin.

Then I went shopping at the Platz. I saw the Branden Gate. This Gate still stands where the wall first came down.

I learned that the wall was not actually one wall but two walls with a corridor between them. When I was walking around they were people discovering parts of OLD Berlin.

They had a Festival of Lights that just started the night that we arrived. The buildings were very nice with the colouring of the lights changing on the buildings every few minutes.
